Bluecycle, one of the UK's largest online marketplaces for car salvage, has signed a deal with high net worth insurer Chubb Insurance Company of Europe SE to handle all of its car salvage. Bluecycle will be handling Chubb Insurance's luxury, sport and supercar salvage, such as Bentleys, Ferraris and Porsches, as well as standard vehicles, managing the end-to-end total loss process. Rex Oakman, national sales manager at Bluecycle, said: "We are extremely pleased to be working with Chubb Insurance and its customers, and this is a great start to what we predict will be a year of growth, expanding on our insurer and fleet company client base. "We worked closely with Chubb Insurance to devise a solution that was suited to the insurer's requirements, providing a transparent, auditable process. We were also able to demonstrate that we could meet the corporate social responsibility requirements that a global company such as Chubb must abide by. "In order to meet the needs of any customer, whether it is an insurer, broker, claims management company or fleet business, we will work with them to offer a flexible, bespoke service to suit each individual circumstance." Michael Besant, subrogation claims manager, Chubb Insurance, commented: "Chubb's award winning claims philosophy is to provide a fast and fair service. Our challenge was to find a partner who could mirror our service ideals in the area of salvage recovery, whilst ensuring salvage disposal was dealt with in accordance with the ABI Code of Conduct. We're therefore delighted to be working with Bluecycle. Their pioneering approach and use of technology will ensure maximum returns are achieved, which we believe will provide long term benefits for our high net worth clients." |
