how to register

Registering with bluecycle.com is straightforward, free, and brings access to an easy-to-use, nationwide marketplace for salvage. Thousands of your competitors are already registered and benefiting from the edge it gives them.

There are four steps in registering to buy Category C/D/X (repairable) autosalvage with bluecycle and making your first bid on the bluecycle auction site. 1) preliminary online registration; 2) sending your supporting documents by post; 3) processing/approval; 4) receiving your password - start bidding!

To register for category B (breaker) auctions you need to register for Category CDX (repairable) auctions first, and then send copies of your relevant licenses (see below).

Choose the country where your business is, click submit and complete the online registration form. You will be asked to give details of your business and choose the method by which you wish to pay.

Once you have filled out the registration we will email you your application form with most of your details filled in. Please reconfirm your payment option and details then sign it.

The form also has a list of documents you need to send in with your application. We need these documents to check your details and be sure you are in the trade.

It is important that you fully fill in your form and send it in as one package together with all your documents. If you send an incomplete form, or with missing documents, we will have to return it to you unprocessed. So please take care to check everything several times before sending it in.

Staple your application form together with all your documents and post them to us at the address below.

Once we have received your application it will go through our approval process. This may include checking your references and asking for further information. It can take up to 28 days, but if you have not heard from us by then you can call us by phone on 0117 322 8158.

As soon as your application is approved we will let you know by email and send you a password. You can then enter the bluecycle auction site every day and start bidding for the latest great value autosalvage. It's really that easy!

If at this stage you wish to register for Category B (breaker) auctions, you will need to send the following:

Republic of Ireland:
- ELV Permit or Waste Management Permit
- Waste Collection Permit

United Kingdom:
- Waste Management License or Authorised Treatment Facility Permit
- Waste Carriers License

Following receipt of satisfactory copies a site visit will be arranged.
